Dr Barry Ingham - 09.08.1928 - 17.04.2017

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dr Barry Ingham. He battled Parkinson's Disease without complaint for many years. He died peacefully on Monday night in the presence of his family. He will be sadly missed by his wife, Margaret, children and grandchildren, and his many friends and patients. He loved his patients and his practice. He worked in Sutton for 34 years, initially from 1959 as a single hander, then in partnership with Richard Brown, and finally in partnership with his son, Peter, and Joyce Collier until his retirement in 1993.

Over the 25 years of Peter working in the practice, hardly a day has gone by without patients enquiring about his father. The family are greatly consoled knowing how fondly Barry was regarded in the Sutton community.

A service of remembrance will be held at Sutton Crematorium at 3.30pm on Friday 28th April. All are welcome.
